18505845Synopsis

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Cora Carmack follows up her trio of hits—Losing It, Faking It, and Finding It—with this thrilling first novel in an explosive series bursting with the Texas flavor, edge, and steamy romance of Friday Night Lights.

In Texas, two things are cherished above all else—football and gossip. My life has always been ruled by both.

Dallas Cole loathes football. That’s what happens when you spend your whole childhood coming in second to a sport. College is her time to step out of the bleachers, and put the playing field (and the players) in her past.

But life doesn’t always go as planned. As if going to the same college as her football star ex wasn’t bad enough, her father, a Texas high school coaching phenom, has decided to make the jump to college ball… as the new head coach at Rusk University. Dallas finds herself in the shadows of her father and football all over again.

Carson McClain is determined to go from second-string quarterback to the starting line-up. He needs the scholarship and the future that football provides. But when a beautiful redhead literally falls into his life, his focus is more than tested. It’s obliterated.

Dallas doesn’t know Carson is on the team. Carson doesn’t know that Dallas is his new coach’s daughter.

And neither of them know how to walk away from the attraction they feel.

My Review

“In Texas, two things are cherished above all else – football and gossip. My life has always been ruled by both.”

Can I just start by saying – HOLY CRAP! This has got to be my favourite Cora book! (I love the Losing It series but this is something else!) I cant even begin to tell you how much I need this book in paperback RIGHT NOW! There is just something about All Lined Up that had me hooked from the very first page to the last and even after this book was all I could think about. Dallas and Carson were and still are embedded into my mind and I seriously need more of these two. I need them in book two and I need to know where they are and how they are and Cora, can we just please have another book or novella about these two? Pretty please with a hot guy on top?

I love football (Sorry, I mean the English Football) but Cora has written the football scenes perfectly for us lot whom have no idea about American Football – like me. She actually made me wish I had grown up in America, going to all these football matches and pep rallies because we do NOTHING like that over here, which is pretty sad and I am going off topic right now. But yes, if you are like me and you earn for that American college lifestyle, Cora makes you feel like you are a part of it, and I could see everything in my mind when she was describing so I pretty much felt like I was there. And of course, with Cora being a Football coaches daughter, she, of course, was going to put her all into this book, let us know her perceptive of growing up as the coaches daughter through Dallas and the hardship of kind of being second best to football.

All Lined Up is captivating, I hung onto every page. Cora has written a fantastic and sexy and steamy college romance novel, with little bits of drama embedded in-between and of course, gossip and football along the way. You will be fanning yourself, swooning, shouting at the characters but most of all, you will fall in love them and the story and hate it when you get to the last sentence because you never want the book to end.

Dallas has always felt she was second best to her dad. Football, then her. It also doesnt help that she is the Coaches daughter and that leads to players using her to get closer to her father but she’s had enough. Her ex was an asshole so she tells herself she is never going to date a footballer player again.

But one crazy night and she meets Carson – a football player who has just transferred to Rusk University. He has no idea that she is the Coaches daughter, but he doesnt care. From the moment they meet, something changes for both of them but Dallas cant be more than friends with Carson and Carson needs to focus on his football if he ever wants to be in the starting line-up.

No matter how much they try to deny the attraction, neither can walk away. But what happens when they both find out who the other is?

I really enjoyed knowing Dallas. She is a dancer, she tries to stay in the shadows and she is the Coaches’ daughter. Plus she loathes football and knows she is second best to it. But she just gets on with it and pretends she doesnt care, but you know deep down she does.
The first meeting with Carlton changes her. In a good and bad way because hes a football player and she doesnt date them anymore but he kind of pulls her from her shell – she feels at ease with him, like everything will be okay. But when she finds out he’s a football player, she just cant go there again. Thus beginning the back and forth between her feelings for him. You really wanted her to say ‘fuck it’ and go with him but I understood her reasoning, guys use her to get close to her dad or get on the team and she doesnt want that again. Not after her dickhead ex-boyfriend but something switches and she cant stay away from Carlton, no matter how hard she wants to. She just keeps going to him, like a magnet.

I understood her need to stay under the radar, to try and not let people know she is the Coaches’ daughter and to pave her own future without her father stopping her. Being under his eye, knowing everything you do – to some extent – would really annoy and infuriated me. Especially to be scared to let loose because you know someone on the team will tell him about your fiascos. But I loved how she become stronger, she laid everything out, she bared her soul and it was really therapeutic for me to watch her do that. For her to say ‘this is what I want and I am going to do it’. I was really proud of her.

I adore Carlton so much. He is pretty dang sweet and funny and you know after that first meeting Dallas has entered and stayed in his mind. But he cant let a girl into his life, he has to concentrate on making the starting team because he wants to be something, wants to help his family. I admired his hard work, his need to be something and he put his everything into his football training and his school work proving that he really wants this. To give something back to his family after everything they face up for him. The only thing I wish we knew more of was Carlton’s family, but other than that I was content in knowing him.

You could see how affected his was around Dallas, how his head was in turmoil over her. He wanted her but he couldn’t too, he had to focus. So being friends was what it was all about. But you knew that the attraction was too much. My heart pain for both Dallas and Carlton over certain scenes and you knew they were both hurting, both stubborn in that they wouldn’t text or call one another but yano, when they get over the shitstorm, the love comes after and Carlton was definitely swoon-worthy. You knew he loved Dallas a hell of a lot and the ending for them was just beautiful. I cant wait to see how these two progress because when you have characters like these two, you know they are in it for the long haul!

I loved the chemistry between Dallas and Carlton, even right from the beginning you see it, feel it and you vow for them to get together; they are absolutely amazing together and every time they were pulled inside their heads, every time they were just friends you wanted to shake them and tell them that they had too much chemistry, too much attraction to stay away, that they had to be together, they needed to be together because they were perfect. I knew they were both scared, they both had things going on but in the end they just gyrated towards one another, let each other in and I just sighed so hard when they finally got their acts together. There are ‘steamy’ scenes, but it just makes their connection all the more real and everything they went though was worth fighting for.

If there is one book you pick up today, let it be All Lined Up. You won’t regret falling in love with Dallas and Carlton!

GENRE: New Adult
RELEASE DATE: September 23rd

add-to-goodreads-button3

Synopsis

From the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of The Love Game and Playing for Keeps is a story of hope and the beauty of getting a second chance at the kind of love that comes once in a lifetime…

“You don’t get a love like ours and get to leave it behind.”

Kia James was never meant to return to her hometown of Harlan Grove, Alabama… But she has.

And Reese Pembleton was definitely not supposed to still be in love with her the way she is him… But he is.

Last summer was the summer to end all summers. It was the summer they both fell in too deep to get out, and try as she might, Kia can’t deny that whatever was there between them a year ago is still there. If she’s honest with herself, there’s so much more there than there ever was, but the way her dad walked out six years ago has shattered her belief of that fairytale love every girl craves.

Reese isn’t giving up so easily. His biggest mistake was not chasing after Kia the way he wanted to when she upped and left him without a word. Despite what she says, he knows her better than anyone, and he knows she still wants him the way he wants her. And this time, nothing will stop him from getting – and keeping – his girl.

But nothing is that easy. When Kia’s dad arrives back in town, family secrets come tumbling out she never realized existed. Everything her mom has ever told her about the reason he left is a lie – but how can she trust the man who, by his own admission, didn’t fight for her as hard as he could have?

With her past and present wants and needs colliding, Kia is thrown into the turmoil of the biggest decisions of her life. And she realizes, sometimes a second chance is all you need.

Excerpt:

Reese puts his arms out at the end of the truck. “Come on.”

“I can climb down from a truck.”

“I know that,” he replies and shakes his arms once. “But I’m just helping you. You know, being friendly.”

I raise my eyebrows, letting him grip my waist anyway. I put my hands on his shoulders, and he lifts me down, lowering me slowly to the ground. His eyes are on mine, watching me intently, and a small smile plays on his lips. I lick my bottom lip without thinking, and his eyes flicker down. I swallow against the thumping of my heart and force my breath out slowly, resisting the urge to let my body take control.

Reese’s hazel eyes are darker as they meet mine again, and I let my hands slide slowly down his chest. His fingers flex against my waist, like he’s fighting with himself whether to let me go or not.

I breathe a little faster against my will and I see his chest heave once. My fingers graze his stomach and I step back, loosening his hold on me. His hands brush my hips as he drops them from my waist, and I have to stop myself from wrapping my arms around my waist to make up for the loss of him.

“There’s nothin’ friendly about that, baby,” he says in a low voice. “Nothin’ at all.”

I let out a shaky breath. “We’re never gonna be able to be friends, are we?” I whisper sadly. “We’ll never be able to get past whatever it is between us, will we?”

He shakes his head. “I don’t wanna get past it, Kia. Not at all.”

“I can’t have everything. I can’t. It’s always gonna be all or nothing for us, Reese. There’s no in between, there never will be.”

“I’m not asking you fall back into my arms and let me sweep you off your feet,” he whispers, moving some hair from my face gently. “No matter how much I want to, I’m not asking that. I’m just askin’ you to let whatever will happen, happen. I don’t get what good it is with you fightin’ yourself every time.”

“What’s meant to be will be, right?” I shake my head a little in disbelief. “It doesn’t-”

“Work like that?” He raises his eyebrows, his thumb trailing down my cheek and neck. “How do you know if you keep fighting it?”

Losing It – Cora Carmack

16034964Synopsis

Virginity.

Bliss Edwards is about to graduate from college and still has hers. Sick of being the only virgin among her friends, she decides the best way to deal with the problem is to lose it as quickly and simply as possible– a one-night stand. But her plan turns out to be anything but simple when she freaks out and leaves a gorgeous guy alone and naked in her bed with an excuse that no one with half-a-brain would ever believe. And as if if that weren’t embarrassing enough, when she arrives for her first class of her last college semester, she recognizes her new theatre professor. She’d left him naked in her bed about 8 hours earlier.

———————————————————————————————————————————————————————-

My Review

“Best thing that ever happened to me…that girl finding out about us.”…
“I’m going to pretend you didn’t just say my best friend was the best thing to ever happen to you.”

Bliss is twenty two and about to graduate from college. The thing is, she still has her virginity in tack. Being the only one out of her friends that is still a virgin, she decides the only way to ‘get rid’ of it is to have a one night stand. Only problem is, when she’s about to have sex, she freaks out and leaves the gorgeous guy in her bed, alone, while she watches and waits for him to leave so she can go back in her flat. If that wasn’t embarrassing enough, the next day in class, there’s a new teacher, and it’s none other than the guy she left behind mere hours ago.

Garrick, or Mr Taylor seems more than surprised to see Bliss in his class. After the lesson, he asks her to stay back and they both decide that they should keep things professional, even though you can feel the sexual chemistry between them. Agreeing, Bliss can’t stop her mind from being on Garrick but because he wants to be professional and she doesn’t want to lose her scholarship, she tries to do the same. But there gets to a point where staying away just isn’t going to happen and the chemistry is too strong for them to ignore it, so they decide to keep their relationship a secret until she graduates where they can be together freely.

Bliss and Garrick are the perfect literary couple. The first time they meet you could see the attraction for each other and how affected Bliss was when she was around him. Garrick is British (Like me), loves theatre/acting, reads Shakespeare and is the perfect guy for Bliss as she is doing a theatre degree and loves Shakespeare too! As I’ve mentioned in previous reviews where there is a teacher/student relationship, it is my favourite kind of book. I didn’t think it was a big deal if Bliss and Garrick were together, mostly because they were both around the same age and Bliss only had a few months before she graduated and then she and Garrick would be leaving the school. But I did understand that in the end, he was of authority, so they still had to keep it a secret until she graduated.

When they do have sex, I found it was the right time for Bliss and definitely the best situation as she was in love with Garrick, they had been through quite a lot in the past few months they had been together but worked past it and she was on a high from having the best performance in the college play playing the lead role. It was intense and funny and everything sex should be when you’re first time is with the one you love.  The one line from this sex that had me in stitches was:

“Let me get this straight… you didn’t have a cat? Did you get a cat just so that you wouldn’t have to tell me you were a virgin?”

You don’t need me to tell you what she told him when she bailed the first time. But Garrick was lovely and didn’t want to push her into having sex, but Bliss knew it was the right time for her and so began the next step of their relationship.

The scene I loved the most was when she has mono and Garrick was looking after her, but she thought she was dreaming him being there, and then when he got mono, she looked after him too. It was great to see that they truly did care for one another to make sure they were both doing okay throughout their sickness and it was the first time either of them confessed their feelings.

I found this book to be amazingly brilliant. It had me sighing, laughing and gasping and I was really jealous of their love for one another, even when they decided to stay away and keep it professional, they just kept getting pulled back together until it was inevitable they were made for one another.
You should really download this book and give it a go, it’s definitely one to read and you will fall in love with Garrick…that is a no-brainer!

———————————————————————————————————————————————————————

My Review

“For the first time in my life, I’ve felt whole, alive, free. You were the missing piece of my soul, the breath in my lungs, the blood in my veins. I think that if past lives are real then we have been lovers in every single one of them. I’ve known you for a short time, but I feel like I’ve known you forever.”

Twenty year old Camryn Bennett has always been different to her friends. She’s been one to over think her life and she knew that she wanted more; more than just a repetitive lifestyle. She had her life planned out with her boyfriend Ian, until an accident took him away from her. Since then, she hasn’t been herself and a black cloud has overtaken her.

One day she just decides to pack a few essentials in a bag and get on a bus. She’s fed up of everything happening in her life, from her brother in prison, her parents’ divorce, and her best friend accusing her of being a lying bitch. She decides to start living for her, hence setting out on a road trip to Idaho, even though nothing is really there for her. You’ll see why she picks that place when you read this book.

When she steps upon the bus, little does she know everything is going to change and her life will turn upside down for the better.

Andrew Parrish is 25 and on a trip from Texas to see his dying father in Wyoming. It could have been easier to get on a plane but he decides to get the bus instead. He’s in the same mindset as Camryn where he needs time to think about everything that is happening in his life and what he’s going to do. You will definitely fall in love with Andrew. I want him to take me on this road trip and show me everything that I am missing in my life!

When they both meet, its obvious Camryn doesn’t want to speak to anyone. She’s there for herself, to travel alone and when she gets to her destination, she’ll turn around and go home. She only wanted this trip to discover herself and sort out her thoughts and feelings. Little does she know, but Andrew’s protective instinct takes over when a man is constantly checking out Camryn, not to her knowledge, and he does everything to make sure the man stays away, which leads to small talk and then they slowly build a friendship spending the trip together and even beyond that when they decide to just drive anywhere, to really live on the wild side without any planning or thinking about where they are going.

They were both characters who were amazing together. They both pushed each other to be themselves, especially Andrew, who makes Camryn come out of her depression and her shell and admit things she wouldn’t even dream of to Ian. He makes her push past her past, makes her be fearless and to own her own sexuality. In turn, they fall in love and it was like they were truly meant to be and truly be on the same bus together. The banter and flirting made their friendship all the more important to me, and with the alternative POVs from both characters, you begin to see them falling for each other but because of their own personal trauma’s they just didn’t want to admit it, thinking it was easier to keep at arms lengths. But love concurs all in the end.

This book and their journey really made me think about my life. If I could, I would pack my stuff up in my duffle bag, go to the airport and get the first flight out of Wales and just live my life to the fullest. You see the pain from both of them, but together they manage to make each other come alive and slowly the pain simmers away until love overtakes and they both feel alive being together. Meeting one another on the bus was definitely fate; to bring them back to life with the help of each other.

I have to say, when I finished this book, I was walking around my house like a zombie. I didn’t know what to feel because so many different emotions were pulsing though me. I was happy, sad, and distraught and all these feeling were swished about together that I was going “I don’t know how to feel.”

I had seen so many people raving about this book and I just had to download it right away. Sweet baby Jesus, this book did not disappoint at all. I was captivated by the synopsis, then every single scene that occurred throughout the book. I do have to say; I’ve never cried so hard or so much reading a book as I did with The Edge Of Never.  My mother even asked me who had made me cry and I had to tell her it was this book, which made her laugh. My heart was breaking at what I was reading and I kept throwing my Kindle down and taking deep breathes throughout one particular event because I couldn’t handle it. When books turn me into an emotional wreck, you definitely know it’s a great book to read!

Seriously, you HAVE to give this book a read. I know I say it about many books I read but when you feel so passionate about a book, you really need to make other people read it and see why you love it.

“Have you ever wondered what it would be like to backpack across the world? Just you and a backpack with a few necessities. No bills. No getting up at the same time every morning to go to a job you hate. Just you and the world out ahead of you. You never know what the next day is going to bring, who you’ll meet, what you’ll have for lunch or where you might sleep.”

Her Heart for the Asking – Lisa Mondello

Synopsis

Promises made…secrets kept…

Mandy Morgan swore she’d never step foot in Texas again after Beau Gentry left her for life on the rodeo circuit eight years before. He once promised he’d love her forever. But he’d abandoned their love for the rodeo and she hadn’t seen him since. Now she’s back in Texas. Her uncle’s heart is failing and Mandy has to convince him that surgery will save his life. She never dreamed the first thing she’d see when she stepped off the plane would be her biggest nightmare…the one man she’d never stopped loving.

Beau Gentry had the fever for two things: the rodeo and Mandy Morgan. But for Beau, loving Mandy was complicated by his father’s vendetta against her uncle and a promise he’d made to an old friend. Hank Promise, Mandy’s uncle, was more like a father to Beau than his old man had been. The hardest thing Beau had ever done was leave Mandy behind for the rodeo. He can still see the bitterness and hurt on her face. It has killed him all these years to think Mandy had forgotten him…maybe even in the arms of another man. But now they’re both back in Texas, and Beau’s going to do all he can to win back her love.

———————————————————————————————————————————————————–

My Review

Mandy Morgan hasn’t been back to Texas in eight years, not after Beau Gentry broke her heart, but now she’s back visiting for a while from Philadelphia as her Uncle Hank needs a heart operation and he’s refusing. It’s up to her to convince him.

The reason why she hasn’t been back to his ranch is down to the boy her broke her heart at 16. She never really got over him, and feelings come flooding back with he’s the one who picks her up from the airport.

As much as she loves him, she hates him for that day eight years ago when Rodeo’ing was more important to him than her, especially as his words hurt her, and that’s why she hasn’t been back, in fear of seeing him again.

Beau, a rodeo champ is back on Double T, Hanks ranch to help Hank out in his failing health. He has two loves; the rodeo circuit and Mandy Morgan. But because of his father’s vendetta against her uncle, he had to leave her, as painful and heartbreaking as it was for him, to protect her and let her lead the life she deserved, even if she did want to run away with him.

Now they are back in Texas, all old feelings begin to boil for both of them, and no matter how hard it is for Mandy to stay mad, Beau is her first and only love and she wants him as much as he wants her.

I really enjoyed reading this book, it was short and sweet. I’ve began to really like books based in Texas and feature Cowboys, so it was obvious that I had to read this book. You really get involved with the characters, especially Mandy, who has never forgotten the pain she endured when she was 16 to have it all bubble up again when she sees Beau waiting at the airport. She goes through a lot in the story, with different emotions, which you really connect to, with both Hank and Beau.

You also read both Beau and Mandy’s inner battles about each other, which pull at your heartstrings because you saw they still loved each other but she knew Beau would return to the rodeo circuit soon enough and Beau knew Mandy would be leaving again.

The last few pages, when Mandy was about to leave, were perfect.  Beau isn’t a guy who tells people his feelings, that was drilled into him by his father, but just hearing him pour his heart out to Mandy, wow, I loved him for that. There is no sex involved, which from my other reviews lately, there seems to be quite a lot, but it was a short nice, romance novel to chill with and float away with first loves, heartbreaks and family secrets, which all comes together in the end.

——————————————————————————————————————————————-

My Review – Some spoilers included.

Now, I’ve read and reviewed Under Her Skin by Alexis, and I really enjoyed it, so I thought I’d give her other books a read, starting with Big Tex.

I have to say, there were some times that I did like in the book, and some that I found so annoying that if that happened to me, I know it would be different. This isn’t going to be my typical review, so watch out.

So, this book is about a girl from New York and a boy from Texas. They both meet when Willow helps her mum, Lauren move to Texas with her best friend turned surrogate sister Seirra helping. They all go to a Texan bar and HELLO Brody, who challenges them to a drink-off.

Next night they all meet up with Texas boy’s best friend tagging along. They all find that they love to be around each other and spend a lot of time together – although this was meant to be a trip to help her mum settle in.

Fast forward and they fall in love, there’s a death, a near death experience, a wedding, a pregnancy, a break-up, a pyscho, a few punches thrown around and a lot of ‘I love you, you mean everything to me.’

Normally with my reviews, I highlight the best parts of the book I liked so I will do them before getting down to the annoying parts.

1. It was focused in NYC and Texas. I love NYC and would love to go back and I really want to go to Texas.
2. The love between Willow and Brody was cute at times – Fluffy.
3. I loved Lauren’s character. You could tell she loved Seirra just as much as Willow, which was so nice to read about and she was written as an amazing woman.
4. Brody’s family are too cute. Loved the help from Mama Brody when something big happens to Willow and I love Brian’s offer. Brighton is so cute as well, like a little child at heart although she’s 21.
5. The Xmas presents were a really nice gift for everyone. I would have loved every single one of them.
6. The way Brody hit psycho Lisa. I know men aren’t supposed to hit girls, but she definitely deserved the smack down.
7. Everyone’s love for the kids, especially Brody and Willow.

Now the things that I didn’t like. They will contain slight spoilers so don’t read if you don’t want to know.
1. Seirra is meant to be Willow’s best friend and surrogate sister but throughout the major dramas it seemed that all Willow cared about was being with Brody. HELLO Seirra needed some comforting too.
2. When Willow was in hospital (slight spoiler) and only ‘family’ could see her, Brody was the only one allowed in. Urm, I’m sorry, hasn’t Seirra known Willow longer than you? It should be her allowed in too. That annoyed me to the high-end as Brody nor she mentioned anything about that and Seirra wasn’t allowed to see her.
3. As stated above, the whole best friend/sister thing, when Willow was pregnant, did it not occur that as Seirra’s best friend that she had a right to know, not 13 weeks later? I would be so mad that I didn’t know about my best friend’s pregnancy. Fair enough if they wanted to wait for the 3 month mark, but to tell Brody’s family above Seirra. That didn’t sit right with me.
4. They both moved to Texas together and it seems that Willow is abandoning Seirra. Bros before Ho’s remember? I know Willow is madly in love, but have a bit of time for Seirra.
5. They didn’t ring Seirra when Willow was in labour.

All the annoying things tend to be the relationship between Willow and Seirra. I know I seem a little prissy over them, but I know most people, especially my friends, would agree with me on them.

Anyway, if you like the fluffy love at first sight with a little bit of drama thrown in, then this book is definitely for you.

My Review

I’ve had this book on my kindle for a few weeks now but I’ve always put other books before it. Last night I decided it was time to read it – seeing as i think it was a freebie on Amazon – and I normally really enjoy the freebie books.

I had read the synopsis when i downloaded the book, so i had completely forgot what it was about, and when i got a few pages in and got confused, i re-read the blurb and remember exactly why i had downloaded the book.

It is definitely different from any other books i read. I’m not really a romantic mystery/suspense girl myself, but I did in fact, love this book. Every page had me hooked and i was constantly guessing over who the hitman was going to me – I thought it was her ex-husband…totally way off there.

Christie made me love ALL the characters and their story lines but I have to say i adored Lucas and Jose the most.

Lucas had some great lines which had me laughing throughout the book and I just felt drawn to Jose – I did feel slightly sorry for him and i kind of understand why he wanted to leave Precious – as i feel that way about my home town at the moment and I don’t feel like i fit in anymore, so i can totally sympathize with him in that respect.

The love triangle between Maria/Matt/Jose got me irritable at times. Maria and Jose are foster siblings with history and Maria was with Matt but something happened. I didn’t like who Maria ended up with, i wanted the other guy as i really liked him.

Redfoot and his premonition dreams about souls mates and incidents from the spirits were very interesting to read. I believe in the whole soul mates thing, so i enjoyed it when they came true. His ‘relationship’ with Veronica annoyed me a bit. Mainly it was Veronica getting on my nerves saying no one could find out because of her children but when you’re older, why should it matter to your children if you find another partner? It would make me happy if any one of my parents found someone else if the other one left or died (They are together just for the record).

Sky and Shala – too cute. I loved the way their relationship paned out – both attracted to each other but not wanting to do anything.

Redfoot had a dream these two were soul mates and the journey from when they first met to the end of the book had me hanging on. Sky doesn’t believe in soul mates and love but when he sees Shala he’s attracted to her but thinks if this whole soul mate stuff is true, he has to stay away. Shala is also instantly attracted to Sky when she first sees him and after having her camera snatched off her by him, all she wants is it back so she can do her job and get out of Precious but no matter how much they want to stay away, they cant as Shala has a stalker that will do whatever to have her dead, and Sky will do whatever to protect her and keep her safe.

I did just find the epilogue on Christie’s website, if anyone hasnt seen it or read it.

Totally recommend this book especially as it makes me want to go to Texas now as the scenery etc was beautifully written
