I’m coming for you Edinburgh

hot_guy_in_a_kilt_by_builtbytallsteve-d6cq7k0

You may have seen slightly excited posts about the Edinburgh Author Event this past week…scrap that, this past month. And TODAY is THE DAY that I land in the Land of the Scots. I’m probably already there, basking in the culture *COUGH*THEHOTGUYS*COUGH* while waiting to check in my hotel with Emma Hart.

Don’t worry, I’ll raid her box of goodies for you all for a giveaway when I come back.

Anyway, there won’t really be any posts because I was too excited and lazy to schedule anything last night…BUT, and here is a massive BUT. You WILL want to be around tomorrow because its the last day of the Abbi Glines cover reveal tour and I will be REVEALING the NEW UK COVER of MISBEHAVING. It’s beautiful so look out for it 😉

But I will update you all through FB/Twitter on how Edinburgh is, how my hunt for my husband is getting on and how amazing the authors/bloggers/readers/parties are.

Don’t be too jealous now 😉 Until next week.

I CANNOT CONTROL MYSELF

20070907-tn2_ewan_mcgregor_3preview

I LOVE Ewan ❤

Edinburgh is tomorrow guys. TOMORROW!!

I’ll be leaving Cardiff airport at 9am (leaving mine at 6am *groan*) and landing in Edinburgh at half 10am. 3 and a half days in the Land of the Hot guys in Kilts. YES PLEASE. I am besotted with Scottish accents (my BFF is Scottish) so I am *hoping* to just fall into the arms of a hot guy…or accidentally on purpose trip into his arms….we’ll see which one happens on the nights out. OR i can play helpless tourist….

I’ll then be meeting two ladies at the airport, who will be arriving the same time as me so we are going to go for coffee while we wait for our roomies – mine is the fabulous Emma Hart. So yes, I will grab everything she has in her suitcase just for you!

There is so much to pack into this trip and I REALLY want to find all the street names to the On Dublin Street series. Pretty sure the taxi man will have a field day with the amount he’s gonna get off me. Lets hope there are tram stops close to each sign. Time to do my research.

It will be awesome to meet everyone I have been talking to in the Facebook group too. As I am technically going alone to the signing as Emma is signing as an author, I have met some girls who are going alone too, so it will be lovely to have some people to talk and walk around with.

I’m pretty sure I’m going to fall in love with everything Edinburgh. Fingers crossed, I have been wanting to visit this city forever.

Getting Rooted in New Zealand – Jamie Baywood

final book design

It was always my dream to live abroad when I was growing up in California.  I had bad dating experiences in California and read in a New Zealand tour book that the country’s population at 100,000 fewer men than women.  I wanted to have some me time and an adventure. New Zealand seemed like a good place to do so. Although I intended to have a solo adventure I ended up meeting my husband in New Zealand.

I consider myself an accidental author. I didn’t go to New Zealand with the intentions of writing a book about my experiences there. I had funny experiences that I had trouble believing were true. I wrote the stories down to stay sane. I wrote situations down that were happening around me and shared them with friends. The stories made people laugh so I decided to organize the stories into a book and publish in the hopes to make others laugh too.

One of the first people I met was Colin Mathura-Jeffree from New Zealand’s Next Top Model. I had no idea who he was or that he was on TV when I met him. He is friends with my former flatmate. We had a steep staircase that I kept falling down. Colin taught me to walk like a model so I wouldn’t fall down the stairs.

In New Zealand, I had a lot of culture shock.  One of the most memorable moments was learning the meaning of the Kiwi slang word “rooted.” One night I was brushing my teeth with my flatmate and I said, ‘I’m really excited to live in this house because I have been travelling a lot and I just need to settle down, stop traveling and get rooted’. He was choking on his toothbrush and asked me if I knew what that meant because it had a completely different meaning New Zealand than it does in the States.

I had the opportunity to write and perform for Thomas Sainsbury the most prolific playwright in New Zealand. I performed a monologue about my jobs in the Basement Theatre in Auckland.  The funny thing about that experience was Tom kept me separated from the other performers until it was time to perform. I was under the impression that all the performers were foreigners giving their experiences in New Zealand.  All of the other performers were professional actors telling stories that weren’t their own. At first I was mortified, but the audience seemed to enjoy my “performance,” laughing their way through my monologue. After the shows we would go out and mingle with the audience. People would ask me how long I had been acting. I would tell them, “I wasn’t acting; I have to go to work tomorrow and sit next to the girl wearing her dead dog’s collar around her neck.”

I love making people laugh more than anything else. I feel very grateful when readers understand my sense of humor. I plan to divide my books by the countries I’ve lived in. My next book will be about attempting to settle in Scotland.

About the book Getting Rooted in New Zealand:

Craving change and lacking logic, at 26, Jamie, a cute and quirky Californian, impulsively moves to New Zealand to avoid dating after reading that the country’s population has 100,000 fewer men. In her journal, she captures a hysterically honest look at herself, her past and her new wonderfully weird world filled with curious characters and slapstick situations in unbelievably bizarre jobs. It takes a zany jaunt to the end of the Earth and a serendipitous meeting with a fellow traveler before Jamie learns what it really means to get rooted.

3 Novels You Should Read Now- Olivia Luck

Confession time: remember that girl with her nose buried in a book back in grade school? The one who could be caught reading more than socializing? That was me. Okay, I’m exaggerating a bit – but I’ve loved to read for as long as I can remember. Before I could drive, my mom or brother would take me to the library to borrow books (see: romance novels) every week. It’s been an addiction for a long time, so I consider myself a pseudo-expert in the genre.

Today, Zoe has invited me to share a blog post of my choosing with you lovely readers, and I’ve decided to introduce you to three of my favorite novels from my youth. I’m completely crazy about contemporary writers (myself included, hehe), but these are some of my steadfast re-reads.

GUEST REVIEW by Anna Bloom

Before I post Anna’s review, you all seriously need to add The Uni Files to your TBR list.

Anna has become a good friend and I’ve had sneaky views of this book and it really looks amazing to read! It’s my next book to read after my tour book ;). But yesss, Anna has kindly written about The Uni Files for ya’ll to know what it is about 😀

—————————————-

Synopsis

When Lilah McCannon realises at the age of twenty-five that history is going to repeat itself and she is going to become her mother—bored, drunk and wearing a twinset—there is only one thing to do: take drastic action.

Turning her back on her old life, Lilah’s plan is to enrol at university, get a degree, prove she is a grown-up and blow a big fat raspberry at all those who doubt her, especially her dad.

As plans go, it is a good one. There are rules to follow: no alcohol, no cigarettes, no boys and no going home. But when Lilah meets the lead singer of a local band and finds herself unexpectedly falling in love, she realises her rules are not going to be the only things hard to keep.

With the academic year slipping by too quickly, Lilah faces a barrage of new challenges: will she ever make it up the Library stairs without having a heart attack? Can she handle a day on campus without drinking vodka? Will she ever manage to read a history book without falling asleep? And most importantly, can she become the grown-up that she desperately wants to be and learn the hardest lesson that her first year of university has to teach her: The Art of Letting Go?

The Uni File: Year One – The Art of Letting Go is the humorous diary of a young woman in the throes of a mid-twenties breakdown. It will leave you asking the question: can you ever stop history from repeating itself and if you could, what would you do to stop it?

————————————————

Anna’s guest post

Did you know that there were two versions of The Uni File – Year One before I finally finished one I was happy with? Of course you don’t. None of you know about The Uni File yet because we are still two months away from publication and you haven’t had a glimpse into the world of Ben and Lilah yet. It is a world to me, a world that I live and breathe and spend every waking moment thinking about.

So why did I end up with the version that I did? What did it have that the others didn’t? What made it set my imagination on fire to such an extent that it would become something that I would put my real life on hold for?

Well the truth is I don’t really know. It just evolved and my characters and the storyline changed along with it, every version took the characters one step further until I finally knew who I wanted them to be. For instance in my first draft Lilah was not called Lilah she was called Jessie and the Uni File was not a diary but a blog. Jessie used to have a diary but her brother Tristan who was also her best friend got drunk one night and read it out to the whole pub. Jessie left the diary at home and decided to have a blog instead on her first day at Uni.

I don’t know when Jessie became Lilah but I guess at some point she did and I am glad of that fact. The Uni File would just not be the same with a Jessie at the helm instead of a Delilah. Just the name Delilah speaks crazy for me and opens up so many different avenues to explore. For example Lilah hates it when people call her Delilah, but Ben does, normally when he is taking the piss out of her. All of her good friends call her Lil which I would never have thought works but it kind of does all the same.

Tristan did not remain in his cuddly best friend Brother role. He is Tristan the Arse in this version, but you will have to read it to find out why.

Now Ben. Ben was initially called Ben Chase and he did not play guitar. Yes that is right and I will repeat it just to make it clear, BEN DID NOT PLAY GUITAR! I know… I thought of a premise for a story where my Ben did not play guitar? I just can’t believe it, but the evidence is there so it must be true. Ben Chase was a member of the football team who seemed like an enigma to Jessie. Always warm and friendly but legged it at every available opportunity. I cannot even tell you how far this is from my Benjamin Chambers who is strong and solid, caring and thoughtful as well as super talented and outrageously hot (of course).

In my second draft I went the other way, Lilah was Lilah by that point but she was stuck in a dramatic storyline involving blackmail and family feuds. Ben was Ben Chambers but his band Sound Box were uber famous and it was Ben that was running away to University to escape the limelight and not Lilah who was changing her life in a bid to save herself.

I was halfway into this version when I woke up at five in the morning and had an epiphany. I knew exactly the kind of book I wanted to write. I stripped it all back to just Lilah and Ben and then I started to create a world around them, I gave them friends who all have their own stories, I gave them an environment where anything could be possible and I gave them the chance to create something that could be perfect. I wanted it to be laugh out loud funny, I wanted it to be beautiful and romantic. I wanted it to be a love story but a real one at the same time, one that people would read and fall in love with the characters but also understand and accept the decisions that they had to make. More than all of that I wanted to write a novel that people would believe, a love so right that it would feel it had actually happened, a world so convincing it would all feel real.

Have I succeeded? I hope so, but I guess I will be waiting for you guys to let me know when you finally get to enter the world of Lilah and Ben and The Uni Files.

My rating: 5 out of 5 Stars

——————————————————————

Ella’s Review

I absolutely adored book 1 in the “Games” series, “Charade.” As the story came to it’s conclusion, I was hoping that Adrian would be getting a book of his own. When I found out that he was; I was thrilled! Nyrae can weave a tale like nobodies business. Her stories make their way into your heart and set up camp, permanently.

My advice before beginning a “Games” book is to have some tissues ready. Going into this book I thought that there was no way that I would have as emotional of a reaction/connection to Façade as I did with Charade. I couldn’t have been more wrong. Both stories are dynamic and beautiful, each a journey that won’t soon be forgotten.

Façade is, at its base, a story about growth, forgiveness and redemption. Delaney is a girl that feels things very deeply. Her father is in jail and her mother is an abusive suicidal terror. Although Delaney is done with her father, she continues to try to save her mother. The heartbreaking thing is that her mother treats her like garbage

and makes the situation that much worse. The one family member who cares about Delaney is her brother, Maddox. He’s there for her but is fighting his own demons, things that she doesn’t know about.

With things as bad as they are, Delaney hopes that if she can find the people that had their lives ruined by her fathers actions, the suffering within her own family will end.

Delaney is easily able to find the ‘mother’ of the boy that was killed. Meeting Angel is cathartic for them both and they really open up to each other. During the course of their meeting Angel tells Delaney that Delaney’s father didn’t just killed Ashton that day- he took away her whole family because Angel’s brother wasn’t able to deal with it and he disappeared. Angel had an investigator find him and it turned out that Adrian was living four hours away, but Angel is unable to go to him because she knows that Adrian would run.

Getting into Adrian’s POV was gut wrenching. From the beginning it’s very clear that he holds himself totally accountable to Ash’s death. At the cemetery on the fourth anniversary of Ash’s death, Adrian sits in his car and watches his sister cry over his grave… but doesn’t go to her because he thinks that she must hold him responsible.

Pain grabs a hold of me, threatens to pull me under, and for the millionth time I wonder why I don’t let it. It would be so much easier than walking around in the masks I do now.

Delaney makes a radical choice and decides to move to where Adrian is. Destiny plays a little trick the day that she moves in when she meets Adrian, but doesn’t know who he is.

Later that night, she meets him again when he shows up at the diner she’s working in. There’s an attraction there on both sides from the get-go. When he tells her his name, she’s stunned.

Their relationship develops from there. Adrian is hiding behind pot and parties because he doesn’t want to feel anything, while Delaney is keeping one key piece of information about herself from him.

Adrian has never told anyone about Ash and Delaney tells no one about her father. Although they begin by keeping these secrets from each other, their relationship is real. He sees that she’s in pain and nicknames her ‘little ghost’. They let down their walls with each other- sometimes against their own will- and become something bigger.

There is so much to this story that I can’t share because it would be spoiler-ish and that’s not okay. Suffice it to say, these characters stole, then broke, then healed my heart.

I was so proud of Delaney for showing Adrian that he was a good man, and I was also proud of her for finally standing up to her mother and walking away.

As far as Adrian goes… I fell in love. Some of the deepest scars are internal and he survived something that a lot of people wouldn’t have been able to. Although he was drowning for four years, the core of him was still amazing. He just needed to learn to fight, to LIVE, and Delaney was able to push him in that direction. I cried my eyes out for him- from the shirt under his pillow to the handprint on his heart, Adrian had me- and I cried happy tears when he started to become the man that Ashton would have wanted him to be. When he lets it all out for Delaney, my heart skipped beats.

You helped me stop bleeding. You made my heart beat when I thought it was gone.

Seriously, how could you NOT fall in love with Adrian Westfall?

Next up in the “Games” series is Delaney’s brother Maddox’s story and I can’t wait. I spent a fair amount of time during this book wondering about what had happened to him and I’m anxious to get that book in my hands so that I can know.

I can’t recommend this series enough.

About Ella Fox

It seems I’ve had one story or another in my head since the day I was born. I’ve always had characters taking up space my brain, waiting to be “delivered.” Recently I decided to take the plunge, and what a journey it’s been!

I’m a romance girl. Always have been, always will be. My pet peeve is reading a romance novel that centers around a weak and spineless heroine. It’s insulting that as a society we fall for stereotypical female characters who bat their eyelashes, aren’t familiar or comfortable with their sexuality and who allow themselves to be railroaded by the men in the story.

I enjoy a heroine that sounds REAL. Women like you, like me, like my friends. Women who don’t take crap, who don’t accept emotional or mental abuse and who don’t automatically do whatever it is the man wants.

A GOOD relationship- even a relationship that includes BDSM- always involves two equals. It is true in life and it’s true in my books.

GUEST REVIEW of the THOUGHTLESS series by Kerry Heavens

So I volunteered to write a guest post for Zoe, something I have never done before. But writing is supposed to be the one thing I can do with ease right? And lets face it, I am never short of things to say, especially about books I’ve loved.

So what to review?

I had a quick look at Zoe’s list of reviews to find out what I could bring to the party. I decided to start at the bottom of my own favourites list, because the ones at the top of the list will have already been reviewed won’t they? Won’t they?

That’s when I noticed that Thoughtless wasn’t on the list…or Effortless…or Reckless for that matter! This is weird, I thought. Oh wait, she probably loved them so much she put them under their own tab…no? Oh maybe she loved them so much she has an entirely different blog dedicated to them?…NO!

This was that point when I got straight on to Zoe to find out what the hell was going on. “Oh, I haven’t got round to them yet.” She replies casually! WHAT????

So I have the distinct honour of reviewing my all time favourite series for you, with the hope that if nothing else it will make our esteemed blog host read them and save her reputation as a serious book blogger!

My only other issue before I begin (no I haven’t even started yet, get comfortable!) is that I’m not sure how I feel about this whole spoilers thing. I don’t want to give you a blow by blow, I want you to read them and love them. It is going to be very hard to tell you about all three books without some spoilers, but I will try to stick within what the synopsis reveals for each one.

It is no word of a lie when I say, Zoe, you are so lucky! I would give my right arm (the book holding one) to switch places with you. So that I could be the one that hasn’t read these books and you were the one recommending them…Then I could read them for the very first time, all over again. *sigh*

I read each of these longer than average books in one sitting, on consecutive nights, resulting in the kind of book hangover you never want to experience. 4-5am nights, then up for the school run, three nights in a row! I would say it was a labour of love, but it was no labour, just pure love!

So Thoughtless

Synopsis.

For almost two years now, Kiera’s boyfriend, Denny, has been everything she’s ever wanted: loving, tender and endlessly devoted to her. When they head off to a new city to start their lives together, Denny at his dream job and Kiera at a top-notch university, everything seems perfect. Then an unforeseen obligation forces the happy couple apart.

Feeling lonely, confused, and in need of comfort, Kiera turns to an unexpected source—a local rock star named Kellan Kyle. At first, he’s purely a friend that she can lean on, but as her loneliness grows, so does their relationship. And then one night everything changes…and none of them will ever be the same.

13517535Let me say right now. Infidelity is a HARD limit for me in life. It happens, I know. It can make for a great story, I agree. You can write about it, I will read it, enjoy it even, but don’t expect me to sympathise with the characters. Whatever they get, they deserve!

So S. C. Stephens plays a blinder here. Because all my morals went out the window, the very first time Kiera hears Kellan sing. I wasn’t endeared to Denny particularly, so that was the first dent to my moral code. I didn’t care about him enough to be outraged for him. Their relationship just never convinced me.

Kiera will most likely start out irritating you, then you will get quite angry with her and it won’t get better until you are in a full blown fit of hatred for her weak, pathetic, prudish nonsense. Seriously the blood rushes to that girl’s cheeks more often than it would to a 17 year old boy’s ‘gentleman’s area’ at a Playboy pool party! It is just ridiculous! I can’t tell you one single thing about her that shines out as a redeeming quality. On paper she is terrible, in real life I would be forced to slap her and I’m not a violent person and yet…I don’t hate her. I can’t. Because I know, that faced with Kellan Kyle, I would have been just as much of a waste of space as she was, beginning to end. Guaranteed. I mean, I definitely wouldn’t have been so prudish. But I’d have made just as many appalling decisions.

This brings us neatly to Kellen Kyle. GOD. Quite simply the most perfect man ever to occupy my thoughts. I mean LOOK AT HIM!!!

a526aa5c029f1c03de6c65fad9facf3c“Everything about him had screamed, I’m going to take you right here and make you forget your own name.” – Kellan.

I don’t need to tell you all about his phenomenal good looks or how perfectly imperfect his hair is when it falls just so. Kiera will bore your arse off about it constantly. It goes without saying. He is funny and talented and charming. But it is what is on the inside that makes Kellan so special, something I wished Kiera had been more conscious of. He is damaged, fragile, so vulnerable and you just know she is going to crush him with her obliviousness. (Is that even a word?)

So while Kiera hedges her bets and frankly disgusts you, you will fall so hard for Kellan that even when he is being a shit, your only thought is, she drove him to it.

“You wreck me.” – Kellan.

So, you know it will be a gut-wrenching rollercoaster. I admit that I hid it under my pillow and paced my bedroom at least once, like Joey from Friends when he hides The Shining in the freezer. But the passion and love that is expressed in this book, that you actually live through this book is worth every second of the pain. I cried, I feared a heart attack at one point and I rather embarrassingly caught myself panting every time he touched her. BECAUSE IT IS THAT GOOD.

The supporting characters are all equally brilliant. The D-Bags, Kellan’s band are all sweet hearts, well except Griffin. Griffin is something else! You will love him. He is the original FIGJAM, and he just lives to get a rise out of Kiera (I refer you to the aforementioned gratuitous blushing. PFT!). The girls are great too, Jenny is Kiera’s conscience when she most needs one, but she is a great friend to Kellan too. They are all just great.

The scene setting, the atmosphere, the pace, it is all brilliant.
Have I gone on enough? Just Read it, you won’t be disappointed!

fb05d03b55634cf323aabad83536c610Effortless

Synopsis.

After being caught in the middle of a love triangle which led to a devastating betrayal, Kiera pledged to learn from the mistakes she’d made. She was determined to never again inflict that kind of pain on anyone, especially the soulful, talented man who held her heart. But life offers new challenges for every relationship, and when Kiera’s love is put to the ultimate test, will it survive? Love is easy . . . trust is hard.

15842441

I am going to try not to spoil this, or the ending of the last one for you, here goes…

Kiera is infinitely less annoying. She grew up. A lot. So that is a relief

“Loving you, Kellan, is so easy, it’s effortless…” – Kiera

You’re damned right about that Kiera!

If you thought it wasn’t possible to love Kellan any more, you were wrong. Everything that endeared you to him in the first book is still there and bought reinforcements!

But, if for some reason we’re not closer, if something has gotten between us, please, I’m begging you…don’t give up on me. Stay. Stay with me. Work it out with me. Just don’t leave me…please.” – Kellan

The moral of this book is trust has to be earned. If everything you hold dear was acquired dishonestly, you will spend every day scared half to death that you could lose it in exactly the same way. That’s just how it is. In telling us this part of the tale, S. C. Stephens does it again, no she doesn’t do it again, she never stops doing it!

“You are told from the moment you enter school that time is constant. It never changes. It is one of those set things in life that you can always rely on…much like death and taxes. There will always be sixty seconds in a minute. There will always be sixty minutes in an hour. And there will always be twenty-four hours in a day.

Time was not fluctuating. It moved on at the same, constant pace at every moment in your life.

And that was the biggest load of crap that I’d ever been taught in school.

Truth was, time did fluctuate. It was easy to lose hours or even days in a blink of an eye. Other times, it was a struggle to get through a mere hour. It ebbed and flowed as relentlessly as the

tides, and just as powerfully too. The moments that you wanted to last forever were the ones that were washed away all too soon. The moments that you wanted to speed up, were slowed down to a snail’s pace.

That was the truth of the matter.” – Kiera

Oh and if Griffin (and his Hulk) hasn’t got under your skin yet, he will. 😉

“Well, what’s the point of being a rock star if I can’t bang the groupies?”

Rolling my eyes, I found myself muttering, “I thought it was supposed to be about the music?”

Griffin, unfortunately, heard my sullen comment and chose to respond to it. “No, no, I’m pretty sure it’s the pussy.”

chris_hemsworth_looking_handsome-wideGriffin ❤

Reckless…

Synopsis.

When the band hits it big, Kiera and Kellan must ask themselves: Can their love for each other survive the constant pressures of superstardom? The friendships they’ve formed, the new family they’ve found, and the history they’ve forged will all play a part in helping them navigate the turbulent waters of the band’s exploding popularity. A greedy executive hell-bent on success, a declining pop star looking for an edge, and a media circus that twists lies into truths are just some of the obstacles the lovers will have to overcome if they are going to remain together. Fame comes with a price-but will it cost Kiera and Kellan everything?

13600318You will finish this book totally distraught that it is over.

This is all about the redemption. You more or less forget that you ever wanted to throttle Kiera. All the characters stories are developed. Griffin will become your new second favourite book boyfriend, behind Kellan. I can’t quote it without spoilers, but his speech in the VIP room at the nightclub where he tells Kiera why he didn’t fuck those two girls, was the moment I fell HARD! From there on in, I was just eating up each new sweet thing he did. Yes I said sweet, you’ll see.

God, I want to say so much (I’m bursting here!), but it will ruin it and as I said right back at the beginning, I wish I was you and it was my first time, so I know I can’t!

Knowing that I will never hear the D-Bags play, that I can’t rock up to Pete’s for a beer with the boys any time I want. Knowing that Griffin will never try and grope me and that…gulp…Kellan isn’t actually real and I will never have him…well that nearly put me in therapy.

The whole thing really is a rollercoaster. But it was the ride of my life!

I know I just chewed your damn ear off, so sorry about that, but I am slightly passionate about these books! The fact that I managed to do it without telling you to hop straight over to Twitter and follow the undisputed King of the TL, his royal sexiness, @GriffinakaHulk because he is everything you hope Griffin will be and you can actually talk to him, for real!…shit! I mentioned it didn’t I? Oh well, you should, so I’m not sorry!

Thanks for having me here, I’m sure I won’t be invited back; I talk far too much.

Oh, and before I go. Once you have read them all…promise me, you won’t do it until you have read them all? Ok, if you promise! Once you have read them all, check out the original ending of Thoughtless, before S. C. Stephens decided to make it a series.

To say I am glad she changed her mind is an understatement; I don’t think I could have lived with this…

There is also a Kellen’s POV from the rain scene, google it. X

Synopsis

Kendall Hartley first kissed Logan Jordan when she was eighteen. As an up-and-coming player at her father’s tennis academy, his explosive talent on court and sexy blue eyes were like fireworks to her soul. But when their love for each other met its first test, it crashed and burned. Devastated, Kendall fled to college, vowing to forget the boy who once set her heart ablaze.

Four years later, Kendall returns home to find her father’s academy in the process of foreclosure. Unless he can find a way to pay off his debts, he will lose everything he’s worked for. Kendall would do anything to save her father’s dream – even if it means breaking her promise and seeing Logan again. For Logan is now an international tennis icon – and the only person with enough starpower to raise funds for the academy.

But Logan is no longer the boy Kendall fell in love with. He’s hot, he’s arrogant and he’s used to getting what he wants. And when Kendall walks back into his life, it’s clear he wants one thing.

He wants Kendall.

And he’ll do anything to reclaim her.
