Day 01 – Best book you read last year

In 2012, there were a hell of a lot of books I read and absolutely loved. But one that really pulled me in, made me want to be on that road trip, pulled and pushed my emotions in all different directions and made me sob my heart out at the end, was The Edge Of Never – J.A Redmerski. “For the first time in my life, I’ve felt whole, alive, free. You were the missing piece of my soul, the breath in my lungs, the blood in my veins. I think that if past lives are real then we have been lovers in every single one of them. I’ve known you for a short time, but I feel like I’ve known you forever.”

THIS QUOTE! I absolutely love it. Andrew and Camryn were really meant to meet. They brought out the best from each other, taught each other how to live and also how to love.

“Have you ever wondered what it would be like to backpack across the world? Just you and a backpack with a few necessities. No bills. No getting up at the same time every morning to go to a job you hate. Just you and the world out ahead of you. You never know what the next day is going to bring, who you’ll meet, what you’ll have for lunch or where you might sleep.”

This book made me think about my life. How it’s really not going anywhere and that if given the chance – and the money – I would get on the first bus/train/plane anywhere and have my own adventure. (And hopefully bump into my own Andrew Parrish along the way!)

I literally cant say enough about this book because you really do go on a journey with these characters. You feel everything they do, you think about your own life when they think about theirs. It such an amazing, emotional and passionate book that if you haven’t read it, where the hell have you been? And why haven’t you fallen in love with Andrew Parrish yet?!
